Yaletown has been a very busy neighbourhood in 2010:
Twenty-ten kicked off with the Winter Olympics and the Made In Vancouver Festival; the summer had Vancouver sweltering with record-breaking sunshine, which made the Outdoor Movie Night amazing; Fall brought about the Yaletown Caboose, located next to Yaletown Park; finally, the Taste of Yaletown carried on its 6th year of fundraising for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. (Check out Illuminate Yaletown for our first event of the New Year)

It has been one year since the Olympics, and Vancouverites are getting restless. Well, get ready to head outside this February, as Illuminate returns to Yaletown!

In 2009, Illuminate Yaletown brought over 20,000 people to see contemporary light exhibits from 19 artists!
This year, Illuminate will be extended to two days: February 11th and 12th, 2011.
December is the time for giving! We are hosting a food drive from December 1-24 and with every donation you will be entered to win a free month of classes.*
Cupcakes & champagne at Fine Finds
Every Thursday through Sunday. Extended hours till 8pm. Champagne, chocolate and presents for customers all weekend long.

Yaletownblog.ca is running their first contest, and it’s for $500 cash!
