Enjoy a one day extension of Taste of Yaletown with Presenting Sponsor: CIBC Yaletown
Following the Taste of Yaletown’s 2010 success, CIBC and the Yaletown Business Improvement Association are hosting a one day extended Taste of Yaletown event with some of the most tantalizing tastes of Yaletown’s finest restaurants.
CIBC and the Yaletown BIA are inviting you to come out and enjoy complimentary canapés and beverages with us at CIBC’s Yaletown branch on Wednesday, January 26th from 11:30am-2:30pm.
On January 13th, 2011 the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (BIA) met with Canada’s Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages: The honourable James Moore.
The discussion with our federal minister came to fruition, as the Yaletown BIA wanted to find a way that the Government could help by funding some of our Yaletown events. The discussion was candid, as James Moore listened to the Yaletown BIA and some Yaletown business owners.

We’re bringing back the Olympic spirit in Yaletown with a free public event, featuring fantastic artists, both returning from 2009 and new for 2011!

Illuminate Yaletown brought talented artists to Yaletown’s heritage district in 2009 to showcase their craft and introduce Vancouver to contemporary, interactive light art.

The Yaletown Business Improvement Association will be hosting a Flickr Photo Contest once again, with over $500 worth in prizes for photos of Illuminate Yaletown 2011.

Presented by Tourism Vancouver, Dine Out Vancouver is a city-wide celebration of food and British Columbia wine and is the largest restaurant promotion of its kind in Canada.
Yaletown will be well represented, with 15 fabulous restaurants participating in the 9th Annual Dine Out event. Dine Out Vancouver will take place January 24 – February 6, 2011.
This event invites the public to discover and enjoy culinary offerings and delectable wines from some of Vancouver’s finest restaurants, each presenting an exclusive three-course menu at pre-fixed prices of $18, $28 or $38.
Yaletown’s Barre Fitness Studio is hosting complimentary Raise the Barre classes every Sunday @ 1PM in January!
Barre Fitness is an invigorating 1 hour workout that will change your body! Ballet barre based workouts have been toning and shaping celebrity bodies for over 50 years, and now Barre Fitness is the first studio of its kind in Canada.
Now that 2010 has elapsed, we look forward to what’s to come in 2011!
Illuminate Yaletown is returning to the area and promises to brighten the streets in February!
