New street furniture has arrived in Yaletown today!
The 5 new Chapel benches were similarly commissioned to the 4 benches that arrived last week. These new benches were designed by Nathan Wiens and manufactured by his company, Chapel Arts.

The Chapel Benches were created in celebration of Vancouver’s (and Yaletown’s) 125th birthday. The new furniture is a gift to the citizens of Vancouver and our neighbourhood, from the businesses of Yaletown (through the Yaletown BIA).
The benches have all been placed throughout the heritage district along the “Steam Line” walking route.

Celebrating Vancouver’s 125th birthday, the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA) has commissioned new benches for Yaletown.
Come take a look! The “Rail Benches” are installed along Mainland Street, between Helmcken and Nelson.
The benches are created from reclaimed warehouse beams from Yaletown. To tie in Yaletown’s history, the benches were designed to be reminiscent of past Yaletown industries, as a warehouse district and rail yard.

Canada Day is coming up soon and all Yaletown Businesses are encouraged to email events, specials, & hours of operation to info@yaletowninfo.com to have them listed online!
