Three miracles happened within a one hour drive of each other in Belgium. In 1595, the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy began the evolution of one the worlds greatest beers, the majestic Rochefort. 267 years later, the most accessible of all the Trappist beers, Chimay, began their brew. Finally, just 50 years later in a gypsy campsite, the third miracle was born. The legendary Django Reinhardt began to deliver Belgian gypsy culture to the masses with his creation of gypsy jazz.
