The tastes, treats, sips, sights and sounds of Vancouver’s most desirable neighbourhood will come alive again at Taste of Yaletown 2012!
The Yaletown Business Improvement Association is proud to announce the 8th annual Taste of Yaletown event October 17 – 27th, 2012. Taste of Yaletown 2012 will feature participation of Yaletown’s best restaurants, all offering guests an exclusive three-course tasting menu for set prices of $25, $35 and $45.
A portion of profits from each participating restaurant will be donated to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
This year, Taste of Yaletown is adding two new electrifying events into the mix – Taste of Yaletown Premiere and Shake Up Yaletown.

The Roundhouse Community Centre is presenting the 4th Sustenance Festival, which celebrates and reflects local and global intersections of art, culture and food. The festival starts October 11 and ends October 21.
For the opening event there will be a free Fashion Feats. Under the motto Where what you wear is what you eat!, three local artists will present and compete for a micro-grant of up to $1000. Join them on October 11 at 7 pm at the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall.
Barking Babies will be debuting the hippest trends for hounds this Friday 6pm-8pm in store.
Fall for Fashion Show will benefit SAINTS. A charity that was started in December 2004 after volunteers at other animal shelters saw many senior animals spending their last days in a shelter or pound.

Hamilton Street Grill is offering a special Thanksgiving Dinner on October 7th. Chef Neil Wyles will serve a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with organic turkey, fresh cranberry sauce and gravy, yams, potatoes, vegetables and a pumpkin pie.

The Rotary Club of Vancouver Yaletown presents a Blushing Boutique Fashion Show. Come watch the fashion show at Bar None on October 4th and enjoy the locally designed and manufactured fashion from designer Shelley Klassen.
The show starts at 7pm and is a fundraiser to support Rotary community projects.
