SAP Yaletown Lunch on us program

Some great news for restaurants; in the Spring of 2011, the Yaletown BIA along with SAP and Eigen Development will launch a unique meal card program for SAP employees to enjoy the menus of Yaletown. This Yaletown-only program has been in the works for the past year, as we developed the concept, researched the market and engaged the suppliers and stakeholders.

The concept is simple, the results are important.

Hundreds of SAP employees will roam the streets of Yaletown, hungry for lunch and snacks and itching to try out new menus and hot spots. The cards will be pre-paid and preloaded with lunch time cash, ready for Yaletown member restaurants and cafés . The participating merchants will enjoy busier times, with their SAP friends and neighbours.

“In these challenging economic times, this is exactly the kind of boost that our businesses need, and this is exactly the kind of project the Yaletown BIA wants to produce for our members” states Neil Wyles, President of the Yaletown BIA. “As the largest employer in Yaletown, SAP has really stepped up to support their staff and this neighbourhood with the Lunch On Us program. They are truly a community leader” added Neil.
