On November 22nd, CandyTown, a free Christmas outdoor celebration returns to Yaletown and will transform Mainland Street into a winter wonderland. The 3rd annual CandyTown festival has more food and gift vendors than ever before. There are over 50 vendors coming to the festival offering tempting treats and gorgeous gifts. The popular free horse-drawn carriage ride, sponsored by Concord Pacific, will also be making a return at the festival.

It’s the 3rd time that this winter festival is taking place in our community and Concord Pacific has been a part of it since the inaugural CandyTown festival in 2012. Concord Pacific also organizes the well-attended horse-drawn carriage rides on Dec. 6th and 7th in front of the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Center.

CandyTown’s horse-drawn carriage station will pick up riders in front of Salsa and Agave on the corner of Davie Street and Pacific Boulevard. The route circulates along Pacific, Hamilton and Davie Street and the ride lasts approximately 15 minutes. Donations are being collected for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. The minimum suggested donation is $2 per person.

CandyTown starts at noon and goes on until 7pm on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Dress warmly and bring your friends, family members and children out to attend a fun and free winter festival!
