As a registered non-profit Society, Full Circle’s Talking Stick Festival, now in its 17th year, began as a way to showcase and celebrate Indigenous art and performance to a wider audience. From its humble beginnings, this unique and exciting event has grown into a full 2-week Festival held annually in February at locations across Vancouver.
Enjoy 12 days of performances in dance, theatre, visual arts, film, music, and storytelling.
This year’s festival features:
- Sokalo by world-renowned Québécois percussive dancers [ZØGMA]
- Map of the Land
- Map of the Stars by Gwandaak Theatre
- Salmon Girl by Vancouver-based dance company Raven Spirit Dance.
Be on the lookout for the Annual Celebration of Powwow Culture and the Métis Kitchen Party.
