Vancouver Sun Run
One of Vancouver’s biggest spring traditions, the Vancouver Sun Run brings thousands of runners and walkers through the downtown core each year for a 10K that’s as much about community as it is about pace times.
Yaletown is proud to be the Official Entertainment Sponsor, bringing music and live energy along the route and at BC Place to keep runners motivated and the crowd cheering all the way to the finish line.
BMO Marathon
On May 3, the BMO Vancouver Marathon brings thousands of runners to the city for a full marathon, half marathon, 8K, and Kids Run. The half marathon course makes its way through Yaletown, giving locals the perfect excuse to grab a coffee, head outside, and cheer runners on as they pass through the neighbourhood.

Sonder: Life in Lights Date: TBC
This winter, Yaletown glows a little differently. Sonder: Life in Lights transforms the neighbourhood into an open-air gallery after dark, with illuminated projections and glowing installations woven throughout the Heritage District and along the waterfront. Inspired by the idea that everyone carries a vivid inner world, it’s part art walk, part evening stroll — and entirely worth bundling up for.
