Pride in yaletown
August 1 - 6, 2024
We are proud to support the community by collaborating with the Vancouver Pride Society to celebrate joy, pride and inclusivity in our neighbourhood.
On August 4, enjoy the FREE parade at the Accessibility Viewing Area in front of the Roundhouse Community Centre. This area will include a Low Sensory Zone, Mask Mandatory Viewing Zone, Seniors Viewing Zone and a Vocal EYE Viewing Zone with a cooling/water station, portable toilets and other amenities.
Enjoy the parade going through Pacific Blvd and celebrate PRIDE in Yaletown.

PRIDE HISTORY IN YALETOWN
"Yaletown has always been a diverse community. The first lesbian bar in Vancouver, The Quadra, was located in Yaletown (1055 Homer St) and one of the longest operating gay bars, The Gandy Dancer, was located on Hamilton Street (currently Bar None). The current public installations in Yaletown acknowledge the diversity and the beauty of the Pride community."
